The power station is at the end of a forced water conduit pipe that operates two turbines to generate electricity. Water, besides being a means of production, is also the environment in which the building is set. By the functional arrangement of its volumes and an architectural vocabulary that is rigorous and skilful in the use of materials, the power station fits discreetly into an area where the landscape values are delicate, at the edge of the lake and close to the 16th century Palazzo Gallio.
