Atlas Pier

The pier for the public boat services, present in all the lakeside towns, is enriched at Cernobbio by a building containing the pier, ticket office and a large space that serves as a waiting room as well as a panoramic shelter protected from the weather. Made of iron and glass in a vaguely floral style, it picks up the theme of 19th-century railway stations by type and materials and is a landmark on the square and the lake.
