The steps connecting the landing to the parterre of the villa is an elaborate architectural element that shapes the lakefront. Two opposing flights of steps supported by local stone walls meet on a terrace surrounded by statues and then merge into a monumental staircase. Beneath it, in more recent times, the passage to via Regina was carved out. This scenic composition provides access while giving a representative quality to the property’s lakefront.
