The late-neoclassical building is set in a broad landscape design, with the creation of a grassy canal joining the two arms of the lake and connecting the villa to the scenic flight of steps that starts from the village of Loppia with its harbour. Commissioned by Count P. Venini and made possible by extensive work, it is a testament to the indispensable dialogue with the lake that characterizes the Larian villas in their striking setting. Here the architecture relates to different landscapes with views of the two opposite shores.
