A villa of rigorously neoclassical design set harmoniously on the slope of the hill as part of the lakeside scene, culminating in a landscape garden directly overlooking the lake, much admired by Stendhal, among others. The articulated layout of the paths reproduces the contours of the landforms behind the building, enriched by the foliage of ancient exotic trees and contrasting with the large terrace facing the villa, the natural spatial filter on the boundary between villa and lake.
